Blending cosmopolitan style and contemporary luxury with locally inspired art and design details, the Radisson Blu also represents a climate-appropriate sustainable design strategy.
The new Radisson Blu Hotel & Residence has officially opened in in Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter, a lush precinct that is home to over 80 foreign embassies and diplomatic missions. With architectural design, engineering, and landscape by Omrania, the hotel boasts an innovative multi-layered terra cotta rainscreen facade system that improves energy performance and respects the architectural context. Omrania also designed the interiors in collaboration with Italy-based SC.Design, combining a chic contemporary sensibility with touches of the Middle East.
Comfort and style are one: each of the 110 elegantly designed rooms and suites are fully equipped for individualized enjoyment. Three unique dining spaces—the Larder Restaurant, Lounge Lounge, and Larder Terrace—offer international and Middle Eastern menus as well as tea, coffee and light bites. The garden setting of the Larder Terrace is decorated with hand-crafted works by Saudi artists.
The hotel’s shared amenities and leisure facilities include a health club and gym (designed to accommodate the needs of male and female guests), an indoor swimming pool, two treatment rooms and two steam rooms. The hotel also features a Family Room, Children’s Play Room, on-site parking and first-class security.
