The Water Treatment Complex at King Salman Park has received multiple honours at the MEP Awards, including Plumbing Project of the Year. The project was also Highly Commended in the Mechanical Project of the Year, Electrical Project of the Year, and GCC Project of the Year categories.
The complex integrates a water treatment plant, sewage treatment plant, and treated sewage effluent facility within King Salman Park—one of the world’s largest urban parks. By combining advanced water treatment technologies with carefully integrated design, the project supports the park’s irrigation requirements while minimising its visual, environmental, and operational impact on the surrounding landscape.
