Omrania contributed to the programme at INDEX Saudi Arabia 2026 through the participation of two speakers who joined discussions exploring design practice, professional development, and the future of the creative industries in the Kingdom.
As part of the Saudi Spotlight Session, Emerging Design Voices, Dima A Almuhaidib shared reflections on her professional journey and the influences that continue to shape her work. Her presentation explored the relationship between design, landscape, climate, and cultural heritage in Saudi Arabia, while highlighting the role of emerging designers in shaping the Kingdom’s evolving creative identity.
The session provided a platform to discuss how local context, environmental conditions, and cultural narratives can inform contemporary design approaches, as well as the growing contribution of Saudi designers to the region’s creative landscape.
Earlier in the programme, Anna Rita Petrungaro, Associate Interior Design Director at Omrania, joined the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) panel discussion, Designing Immersive Spaces. The conversation examined how interior environments engage the senses, influence perception, and create meaningful user experiences through the thoughtful integration of space, materiality, and design.

Anna Rita’s participation reflected the importance of industry dialogue, knowledge exchange, and mentorship in advancing design practice, while contributing perspectives drawn from her experience delivering interior environments across a range of project types and contexts.
Together, these contributions reflect Omrania’s continued engagement with industry platforms that foster discussion, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas shaping the future of design in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
