As a Chief Technology Officer, Nafez enjoys the challenges of making technology work and drive Omrania forward “I enjoyed working on the company’s IT infrastructure because it presented challenges: How to build a solid, reliable and secure IT infrastructure at each office and with standardize systems”
Why did you join Omrania?
I was looking for a new challenge; where I can put my IT experience into good use and help drive an organization forward. Omrania was a consultancy that was expanding fast, and needed IT solutions to support its growth. It immediately felt like “home”.
What is your favorite project you have worked on? And why?
Omrania IT infrastructure
I enjoyed working on the company’s IT infrastructure because it presented 3 challenges:
– How to build a solid, reliable and secure IT infrastructure at each office and with standardize systems.
– How to connect all offices together and create an efficient network for the company.
– How to maintain business continuity and set in motion disaster recovery plans.
What is your favorite part of the day at work?
I like the “coolness” of the mornings 🙂
What do you like most about working with Omrania?
Omrania is a professional, yet humane, work environment! It feels like my “professional” home.
What is the most challenging part of the work?
Having separate offices located in different countries! Omrania needs high-end systems that have almost none down time to keep up with its wide network.
If you were to recommend Omrania to your best friend; what would you say?
I would tell my friend: You will never find a company like it. Roll up your sleeves and join in for the next challenge of your career.
