Strategically positioned at a highly visible corner within KAFD, the fire station features a distinctive curved elevation that enhances its architectural identity while integrating seamlessly with the urban fabric. The station’s louvered glass façade, illuminated by matrix LED lighting, creates a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, functioning both as a public artwork and an essential component of the building’s environmental performance. The design prioritizes operational efficiency and sustainability while establishing a strong visual presence within the district.
The KAFD Fire Station is designed to support climate-conscious operations, incorporating a green roof and photovoltaic panels to optimize energy efficiency.
