Valued Employees Honored at Omrania Corporate Dinner

.

At the company’s first official dinner event since the pandemic, Omrania’s management acknowledged the dedication and hard work of long-serving employees. Gathered for a festive and elegant evening, Omrania welcomed nearly 300 colleagues to celebrate shared accomplishments and look to future successes.

The Omrania family is strong. For the first time in three years, the company was able to host its customary annual dinner party for its team in Riyadh. Held at the Crown Plaza Riyadh Hotel, the event provided an opportunity to reflect on the challenges overcome and the importance of continued teamwork, collaboration and industry leadership.

Mr. Basem Al Shihabi, Omrania’s Chairman, welcomed everyone with heartfelt remarks, offering inspiring words on both the past and future of the company. Mr. Charles Trad, the CEO of Omrania, expressed his appreciation to management and staff, and presented his vision for continued development.

At the heart of the evening’s program was the presentation of awards to long-serving Omrania staff members. Mr. Othman Washmi, Partner and Director of Finance & Administration, introduced the award ceremony with a few words marking the significance of the occasion. He was joined by Mr. Shihabi, Mr. Trad, and Mr. Abdulsalam Alhaddad in presenting a total of 66 awards to employees celebrating a major work anniversary of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, or even 40 years with Omrania. Management acknowledged the talents and dedication of these valued colleagues. Their efforts and ingenuity are key to the company’s continued success.

Mr. Mahmoud AbuGhazal, Director of Architecture and Interior Design, graciously served as MC for the evening’s festivities.

The final presentation, by Ms. Lana Al Dwehji, an Architect, provided a fascinating glimpse of the company’s evolution and its vibrant internal culture. The first section, “Omrania In Numbers,” showed the company’s development over the past 10 years: international expansion to five offices and 657 employees from 28 nationalities. The second part was a light hearted sequence titled “Who Is More Likely To…” that referenced different departments within Omrania. The third section celebrated “The Other Side Of” Omrania employees who pursue hobbies and pastimes like painting, drawing, calligraphy, photography, motorcycling, motocross, car racing, flying, sailing, horseback riding, and music. Clearly, our colleagues are even more talented than we had realized.

The evening concluded with an elegant dinner in a warmly collegial atmosphere.
