Omrania will participate in the Saudi Building Code Forum to be held at the Hilton Riyadh Hotel on March 28, 2022. .
On March 28, 2022, Omrania will participate in the Saudi Building Code Forum organized by the Saudi Council of Engineers. Omrania was pleased to accept an invitation to serve as a panelist at the event. Reflecting Omrania’s support for progress across the building industry, the company will also serve as one of the forum’s official sponsors.
The forum will be held under the patronage of his excellency the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Mr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail. Organized by the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE), the event will take place on March 28, 2022 at the Hilton Riyadh Hotel. (The five-star facility was designed and engineered by Omrania.)
Omrania will serve as an expert panelist in the forum’s third session, titled “Encouraging engineering offices to implement the code.” Omrania’s Project Manager, Meshal Al-Buthie, will represent the company and plans to offer insights based on a variety of recent projects.
Topics to be addressed at the forum included:
- The code and its impact on the sustainability of construction and society
- Legislation and the procedures for applying the Saudi Building Code
- The role of engineering offices in the application of the Saudi Building Code
