Omrania, part of 10N – Egis Group’s global architecture collective, has appointed Jon Clokie as Director of Landscape Architecture. This strategic leadership addition reinforces Omrania’s commitment to delivering world-class landscape and public realm projects that generate significant value and long-term impact across the Middle East.
The landscape architecture practice at Omrania is a cornerstone of the firm’s integrated design approach, driving the delivery of large-scale urban, cultural, and infrastructure projects that prioritize sustainability, innovation, and design excellence. Under Jon’s leadership, the practice will advance its multidisciplinary, systems-based methodology, combining ecological sustainability, urban infrastructure, and cultural narratives to create resilient, context-sensitive public realms that contribute fundamentally to urban vitality.

Jon brings over 25 years of global experience, having contributed to the delivery of major projects such as Diriyah Gate, Red Sea Airport, King Abdulaziz International Airport, Yas Island Formula 1 circuit, and The Louvre Abu Dhabi. He is known for combining technical rigor with aesthetic and sustainable design, ensuring landscapes enhance both environmental performance and social connectivity.
Before joining Omrania, Jon held senior leadership roles with leading architecture and engineering firms, where he gained extensive experience in stakeholder coordination and multidisciplinary team management. He holds a BA (Hons) in Landscape Architecture from Greenwich University and is a member of the Landscape Institute.
Recent successes of Omrania’s landscape arm highlight its growing influence in the region, with complex urban parks, infrastructure-linked public spaces, and culturally significant sites where landscape architecture is integral to placemaking and environmental stewardship.
